Worcester Sharks Announce Opening Night Roster

WORCESTER - Worcester Sharks General Manager Wayne Thomas announced the opening night roster for the Sharks as they prepare for their first game of the season in Glens Falls, NY against the Adirondack Phantoms on Saturday night.

The Sharks regular season roster is now comprised of 24 players; two goaltenders, eight defensemen, and 14 forwards. Defensemen Mike Moore and Derek Joslin along with forward Frazer McLaren round out the roster. Complete roster below.

The Worcester Sharks travel to Glens Falls, NY on Saturday to battle the Adirondack Phantoms to kickoff the 2009-10 regular season schedule.

All games can be heard live on NewsTalk 580AM and 94.9FM WTAG, as well as online through AHL Live, by following the link on the Sharks website at www.SharksAHL.com.

Entering their fourth season in Worcester, the Sharks look forward to another exciting season highlighted by the improvements of the ice surface at the DCU Center and the reduction of season ticket prices!
