LAKE ELSINORE, CA- Angels Outfielder Vladimir Guerrero and Pitcher Kelvim Escobar are set to play against the Lake Elsinore Storm, Advanced A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, in Friday night's game at the Diamond.

Guerrero is set to be the Designated Hitter for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes when the team comes to Lake Elsinore for the weekend. The eight-time all-star and former MVP is on his way back from a torn pectoral muscle that has sidelined him since mid-April.

Escobar is scheduled to start Friday for the Quakes. He has not pitched in a regular season major league game since the 2007 season. He is scheduled to throw about 60 pitches.
