With the 2009 Golden Baseball League season just weeks away, there's plenty happening in the Victoria Seals organization. More players have signed contracts to attend spring training, in hopes of making the Victoria Seals roster. The facelift continues at Royal Athletic Park as well, with major improvements to the field and seating. As you can see, the new mound and plate area are being completed, as well! There's new Victoria Seals gear to be had, too! Seals hats and toques are now available through the Victoria Seals website
Victoria Seals hopefuls will converge on Yuma, Arizona early next month, as the Seals open their training camp for the 2009 Golden Baseball League campaign. The Victoria Seals spring training camp will run from May 7 - 17 at Desert Sun Stadium in Yuma. The players who "make the cut" will be making the quick trip north to Victoria in time for the Seals' first workout May 20, at Royal Athletic Park.
The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to Victoria, and Victoria Seals fans can save $5 off select ticket prices! The Globetrotters will be at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre this Sunday, April 26th, at 2 pm.
