Defenseman Geoff Waugh Reassigned to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators, in conjunction with the Ottawa Senators, announced today that defenseman Geoff Waugh has been reassigned from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL to Binghamton.

Waugh had no points, four penalty minutes and a +1 rating in Elmira's 4-1 win over Wheeling on Sunday evening.

The 25-year-old defenseman missed the B-Sens first 13 games of the season with a foot injury. Since returning to the line-up, Waugh has two assists and 21 penalty minutes in 19 games. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Waugh was selected by the Dallas Stars in the third round (78th overall) of the 2002 NHL entry draft.
