Mammoth Split Home and Home to Open Season

Just one night after defeating the LumberJax 12-10 in their season opener at Portland, the Colorado Mammoth dropped their home opener 14-5 to the LumberJax Saturday night at Pepsi Center. The loss evened the Mammoth record at 1-1 while Portland earned its first win of the season and pushed its record to 1-2.

The next Mammoth Home Game on Saturday, Jan. 24 is a Party Pack Night. Get four tickets, four hot dogs and four Coors or sodas for $39 and see your Mammoth host the visiting Edmonton Rush. This game will also feature KBPI's Wing Bowl finals at halftime and all fans will receive a free Monarch Mountain Lift Ticket.

The Colorado Mammoth and the National Lacrosse League have announced the launching of the NLL Network, an online grid of 13 channels streamed online at NLL.com. The channels will feature live, high-quality online video broadcasts of NLL regular season and playoff games for the 2009 season at no cost to viewers.

The Colorado Mammoth defeated the Portland LumberJax 12-10 in National Lacrosse League action Friday night at Rose Garden in Portland. It was the regular season opener for the Mammoth, which pushed its record to 1-0. The LumberJax fall to 0-2 following their second consecutive loss to open the 2009 campaign.

Trevor Tierney will join the 2009 Mammoth lacrosse broadcast team, the team & network have announced. A former professional lacrosse player, Tierney will serve as color analyst on all Mammoth broadcasts on Altitude this season.
