Pirates to Host Twelve Days of Christmas Finale Sunday

Portland, Maine - The Portland Pirates are pleased to announce their participation in The Twelve Days of Christmas celebration. The Pirates, in conjunction with Kids Crooked House, Q97.9 and the Portland Downtown District, will host the Twelve Days of Christmas Finale at their game on Sunday, December 21st at 4:00 p.m. The winner of the Kids Crooked Holiday Giveaway will be announced during the game and receive a Kids Crooked House playhouse, on display at the Civic Center the night of the game.

The Kids Crooked House mission for this giveaway is to share the joy this coming Holiday Season with a deserving child in your life. Your child or a child that you know may be having a less-than-joyful year. He or she may be battling a serious illness, has a parent fighting in Iraq or lost a close family member. That's why your friends at Kids Crooked House, the builders of the country's most unique and whimsical wooden playhouses, are teaming up with Q97.9, the Portland Downtown District and the Portland Pirates. We're going to make one deserving child's Holiday dreams come true by giving a Kids Crooked House of his or her very own.
