The Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Class A Short Season affiliate of the Cleveland Indians are pleased to announce that Head Groundskeeper and Director of Stadium operations Dan Stricko has been named Sports Turf Manager of the Year in the New York-Penn League.
He is now up for nomination for the Short Season/Rookie Sports Turf Manager of the year, that will be selected at Baseballs Winter Meetings Awards Luncheon in Las Vegas.
