
Cowan Expected To Be In The Line-up Tomorrow When Icehawks Face Bloomington

PORT HURON, Mich. - Stan Drulia, head coach and general manager of the Port Huron Icehawks, announced that the team has signed amateur defenseman Robert Cowan to a professional tryout.
Cowan (6-4, 215 lbs) recently completed his senior year at Robert Morris University (Pittsburgh, PA), where he posted two assists and 32 penalty minutes in 22 games. The defenseman wrapped up his college career with 21 points (1g, 20a) in 123 games.
The 24-year old also played two seasons with the junior league Olds Grizzlys, where he averaged 22 points and 178 penalty minutes per season.
Cowan is expected to be in the line-up tomorrow when the Icehawks take on the Bloomington PrairieThunder at McMorran Arena. He joins amateur forward Kerry Bowman, who was signed to a professional tryout last week, on the Icehawks roster.
