JackHammers Announce the Formation of New Promotions Team

Joliet, IL -The Joliet JackHammers are looking to find a few great people to become part of a brand new promotions team called the "Hammertime Team". The Hammertime Team is a promotions team that goes into area bars and restaurants to promote the Joliet JackHammers baseball team. The Hammertime Team is sponsored by Budweiser.
If you are over the age of 21, and are looking to try something new and exciting, you have the opportunity to become part of something unique and ground breaking. The Hammertime Team will visit area bars and pubs to promote great baseball and great beer. Tryouts for the coveted positions will be held on March 20 at Bluestone Bar and Grill in New Lenox, March 27 at McBrody's in Joliet with the final round being held at Heroes West in Joliet on April 3. All interested people need to attend a minimum of one of the nights. Tryouts will begin at 8p.m. each evening and all candidates are asked to bring a resume, cover letter and winning attitude. Six participants will be selected to be a part of this exciting promotions team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: a good personality, knowledge of baseball (especially JackHammers) and beer products (especially Budweiser), classy appearance, approachability, friendly demeanor, and must be liked by young & old. Hammertime Team representatives will work Thursday evenings at area bars, pubs, and restaurants, until the season starts. Once The JackHammers baseball season begins Hammertime Team members will be expected to participate at all Thursday home games.
This is a great opportunity for anyone who has ever wanted their foot in the door into the promotions/spokes modeling industry. It is also a great opportunity to gain experience promoting Budweiser and JackHammers baseball. Hammertime Team members have the opportunity to be on posters, featured in the JackHammers "PlayBall" official game program and JackHammers website. Not to mention, this is a paid position!
A typical promotion night would include posing for photos with fans, distributing promotional items and asking bar patron's baseball trivia questions in order to win free JackHammers tickets. If you can't make that night visit McBrody's in Joliet at 8p.m. on March 27 or Heroes West in Joliet at 8p.m. on April 3.
