Colts Announce First Round Playoff Series Schedule vs. Brampton Battalion

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts today announced their full schedule for their first round best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarterfinal Series against the Brampton Battalion.
The Colts finished up their regular season in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 62 points and a 28-34-3-3 overall record, meanwhile the Battalion captured the second seed in the Eastern Conference by winning the regular season Central Division title with a 41-22-1-3 record and 86 points. The two clubs split their six game regular season series, as each team posted two victories in their three home games. This series marks the third consecutive post-season where the Colts have faced the Battalion. In 2006, Barrie defeated the Battalion in five games during the Eastern Conference Semi-finals, and then went on to capture a four game sweep over Brampton in last year's Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.
