San Jose SaberCats News Release

SAN JOSE, Calif. (Nov. 29, 2007) - The ArenaBowl champion San Jose SaberCats have revamped the team's official website prior to the start of the 2008 season, the club announced today.

"Online content is a major communications platform in the sports industry," confirmed Vice President Hank Stern. "To keep up with the ever-changing worldwide web, we executed a major reconstruction to our website."

The new website, which can still be located under the domain name www.sanjosesabercats.com, will be extremely user-friendly and encourage visitor interaction. It will also maintain its in-depth and exclusive coverage of the Bay Area's arena football team.

One aspect of the new site will be a multimedia section where fans can scroll through a SaberCats photo gallery or watch a highlight video from the team's previous game. Visitors will also be encouraged to cast a vote on the website's weekly poll.

Even select SaberCats season ticket holders will be able to put their personal stamp on the new website.

"It was important for us to create a place where our season ticket holders could be recognized," stated Ticket Sales Manager Daniel DiGiorgio. "Our loyal customers will have the opportunity to build a personal profile that outlines their SaberCat fanship."

A premiere franchise in the AFL, San Jose last season won its third ArenaBowl championship in six years and has captured seven Western Division titles, eight consecutive playoff appearances and owns the league's best regular season record this decade. The SaberCats begin defense of their AFL title on March 3 in Chicago and play their 2008 home opener on Saturday, March 15 against Western Division rival Arizona.

Season tickets for the 2008 season are now on sale. Contact a SaberCats' account executive at (408) 573-5577 to reserve your seats today. Individual game tickets will go on sale Friday, February 1, at the HP Pavilion box office and all Ticketmaster locations. More information is also available on the team's official website www.sanjosesabercats.com.
