Kalamazoo Wings News Release

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce its new slogan for the upcoming 2007-08 season will be "Time to Excite".

While keeping the jingle that fans loved last year, the new slogan takes lyrics that embody the song and embrace what the K-Wings feel this season will be about.

"Entering this new era of K-Wings hockey, we wanted a slogan that would capture what we are trying to achieve on and off the ice," said General Manager Wade Welsh. "While we

(K-Wings) still believe this is our time, it is also going to be an exciting time in both our league and franchise's history."

The K-Wings will culminate its rebirth into the IHL this Saturday, October 20th at L.C. Walker Arena versus the Muskegon Fury.

Kalamazoo will open up the home portion of their schedule on Saturday, October 27th with a 7:30 p.m. face-off versus Muskegon during the 4th Annual Orange Ice Game presented by WZUU, WWMT and CW 7.
