Tri-City Americans News Release
Kennewick, WA - Tri-City Americans general manager Bob Tory today announced that the hockey club has traded 20-year-old overage forward Michael Kaye to the Saskatoon Blades for 19-year-old right wing Blair Macauley.
"With the excess of overage players we needed to make some moves," said Tory." We wish Michael all the best and thank him for his service."
"Blair will provide a veteran presence to our lineup," continued Tory. He has good speed and a very good work ethic."
Kaye appeared in 53 games for the Americans last season and had 10 goals, 27 points and 79 penalty minutes and was a plus 12.
The 5'10", 180 pound Macauley makes his home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Last season for the Blades he had nine goals, 18 points and 76 penalty minutes.
