
Thomas named AHL All-Star

KEARNEY - The Tri-City Storm of the United States Hockey League learned over the weekend that former Tri-City Storm player and current San Antonio Rampage forward Bill Thomas has been named a member of the American Hockey League's All-Star game.
Thomas, who spent the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons in Kearney, is enjoying his first season in San Antonio. He currently has 12 goals and 20 assists in 44 games this season. San Antonio is the farm team for the Phoenix Coyotes.
Thomas will play for PlantetUSA during the AHL's All-Star Classic. The game will be played on Monday, Jan. 29 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The game will be broadcast live on the B2 Networks by visiting www.b2now.com. The game will also be shown on Altitude Sports and Entertainment Jan. 30 at 8 p.m.
