Medley named Northern Conference All-Star MVP

Hidalgo, Texas --- Killer Bees defenseman Matt Medley was named the 2007 CHL Northern Conference All-Star Team Most Valuable Player at the Dodge All Star Game Wednesday Night in Bossier-Shreveport.

Medley recorded a goal and two assists and was plus-5 in the contest, which the Northern Conference won 9-5. It was the fourth year in a row the Northern Conference took home bragging rights.

Wednesday Night's All-Star appearance was the first of Medley's pro career. The Montreal native had a standout rookie campaign with Rio Grande Valley in 2005-06 and was recently reacquired by the Bess from the Tulsa Oilers.

The Bees return to action Friday evening at the Dodge Arena against the Wichita Thunder at 7:30 p.m. They also play host to Rocky Mountain this Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. All tickets to Saturday's game are just $12 and veer will be $1 all night. In addition, Harley bandanas will be given out at the door. The team will wear Harley jerseys and auction them off after the game.

This Friday's game will be broadcast on ESPN Radio 1240 AM while Saturday will be on Jammin' 104.9/95.3 FM. All games are broadcast on killerbeehockey.com. This Saturday's match will also be on XERV-9 (Televisa, Cable 19).
