ABA Salutes Military Connection
October 19, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Pensacola, FL. The following is a letter received from Debbie Gregory, President of Military Connection, an organization that supports our military men and women with a wonderful variety of programs.
Dear Salute:
We appreciate the good work you do to support our troops and their families. Thank you very much. I am copying below a recent Defense Department America Supports You News Article featuring our web site, www.militaryconnection.com.
Our site is a comprehensive directory of military resources and information with almost 3000 pages. There is something for everyone from databases of benefits to locations of commissaries and exchanges and everything in between. We also provide many employment and job transition resources for candidates from the military community. All of the resources and information are free to users.
We wish to feature your organization and a link to our web site in our charity databases and in other appropriate areas such as our Helpful Links. If you have any special events or press release, we are happy to help you publicize them in the "Military Buzz" section of our web site. We hope that you will also feature our link so that those who will benefit the most from these resources and information will be cognizant of them. Thank you very much for your consideration. Best regards. Debbie.
From Jennifer Hester, ABA Coordinator: Debbie. Thank You. We are pleased to be associated with you and will do what we can to support your wonderful efforts.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
