Pittsburgh, PA- Pittsburgh RiverRats Head Coach Shawn Liotta has announced that Quarterback David Dinkins is the first player signed in franchise history. Dinkins will carry the "Franchise" tag for the RiverRats this season, and will lead the teams charge toward the 2007 AIFL Championship.
Dinkins a local product of Western Pennsylvania (Schenley High School) who has produced record-setting seasons at the Professional and Collegiate level. Dinkins spent the last two seasons as the Quarterback of the Erie Freeze of the American Indoor Football League and established a reputation as one of the premier players in the AIFL.

I am thrilled that we were able to sign Dave as our first player in Franchise history, he is a proven winner on and off the field, who has NFL and Professional Indoor experience. I look forward to having Dave as our triggerman leading the outstanding talent that we will sign in the next few months.
