Rancho Cucamonga, CA- Angels 2004 first round-draft pick (12th overall) Jered Weaver will make his professional debut with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes Monday night at Lake Elsinore. Weaver has worked out with the Quakes for two weeks and participated in two simulated games including one on Wednesday.

James Holcomb originally scheduled to start Monday's game has been pushed back one day and will resume his spot in the rotation on Tuesday. Weaver will make two starts prior to the All-Star Break on Sunday including the final game before the break on Saturday night at the Epicenter against Stockton (Oakland).
