January 11, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Los Angeles Aftershock News Release

Stars Owner Lowell Moore has come in and begin to make changes to the Los Angelas Stars of the ABA. His started by announcing former assistant coach Delisha Milton-Jones the new Head Coach. She will replace Burell Lee who begin the season as General Manager and Head Coach.

Moore says" I feel that the team needs to head in a new direction and I feel that Delisha is definately more than capable of doing the job. She is a Olympian and a WNBA champion for the LA Sparks of the WNBA. I would also like to say Burell Lee did a wonderful job as well he deserves alot of credit but sometime you just need new blood. "

Milton-Jones says " I am really so excited to get the chance to coach a team of this magnitud the record dose not speak for the talent of the team. I would not get this opportunity if Burell Lee would have not had me on the staff and I owe him dearly. I look forward to picking things up defensively and getting out and running. But I truly owe this to God for this happening and I will Make the most out of it."

The Stars next game is Jauary 13th against the Tijuania Diablos in Tijuania, Mexico.
