Ontario Warriors News Release

Ontario, CA. The ABA Ontario Warriors professional basketball team today announced that it would donate all proceeds from its January 25th and January 31st home games against the Long Beach Jam. In a statement released by Brent Hagood, President/CEO of the Warriors, "As the recent tsunami devastation continues to take its toll, we can't help but wish to reach out and help in some way. Together and individually we can all make a difference. We will donate proceeds from two of our games to the American Red Cross for tsunami victims. And we're asking all our fans and our communities to join the Warriors in making a positive impact."

He added, "The Ontario Warriors will always strive to champion a way for hope and this is just one step in that direction. Won't you join us with this undertaking on the 25th and the 31st by purchasing a $5.00 ticket to the games and/or a donation of any amount to the WMG Charitable Foundation."

The ABA League Office will start the ball rolling by buying 100 tickets to be distributed to Inland Empire area youth leagues with the proceeds going to this effort.
