Panthers Minter and Rucker Throwing Out First Pitch

(Kannapolis, NC) – The Kannapolis Intimidators announced today safety Mike Minter and defensive end Mike Rucker of the NFC Champion Carolina Panthers will throw out the celebratory first pitch on Opening Night, April 8th. The Intimidators play host to the Lakewood BlueClaws at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium beginning at 7:05pm.

"Mike Minter and Mike Rucker are not only leaders on the football field but also in the community," said Intimidators general manager Tim Mueller. "These guys are true heroes. It will be a great honor to welcome both of these gentlemen and their families to Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium as we kick off the 2004 season."

The Independent Tribune of Concord, NC is producing a commemorative opening night insert featuring Minter and Rucker which will be in the Tribune on Thursday, April 8th.
