Vychodil Placed on Waivers

GREENSBORO—Head Coach/General Manager Rick Adduono announced today that defenseman David Vychodil has been placed on waivers for the purpose of giving him his unconditional release.
The 6-2, 220 lbs. defenseman has appeared in nine games, registering two assists for two points. Prior to joining the Generals, the Czech Republic native spent time with the Johnstown Chiefs and Wheeling Nailers (2001-02) and again with the Nailers in 2002-03. Appearing in 50 games in his ECHL career, Vychodil has yet to record his first goal.
The Generals return to the ice tomorrow night with a road game in Charlotte, against the divisional rival Checkers. Greensboro will return home on Wednesday, January 28th and 29th with consecutive games against Gwinnett and Charlotte, both with a starting time of 7:00 p.m.
