
2009 RiverCity Rage Season Moves Forward as Planned

Saint Charles, Missouri - The RiverCity Rage of the Indoor Football League, is moving forward towards their 2009 season as planned. The RiverCity Rage and the Indoor Football League has no association with the Arena Football League. The suspending of the 2009 Arena Football League season does not impact the operations of the RiverCity Rage.
The RiverCity Rage play in the Indoor Football League (IFL). The league was created after the merger of the United Indoor Football League and the Intense Football League. The IFL is a league with a national footprint, with teams located in Alaska, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Texas. The IFL has a total of 19 teams that are members of the league.
The RiverCity Rage do not wish anybody working in professional sports any ill will and are saddened, as to what has happened to the 2009 Arena Football League season. All 19 members of the Indoor Football League consider themselves to be playing in the premier indoor football league, and are looking forward to a great season starting on March 14th, 2009.
Other Happenings around the Rage Office:
-A press conference will be held on January 13th, 2009 at the Locker Room Bar and Grill located inside of the Family Arena is St. Charles, Missouri. Announcements will begin at 2:30 PM.
-Open player tryout will be held on February 7th, 2009 at "The Game Arena" located in Glen Carbon, Illinois. The workout starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
