Against all odds, the Surge finds themselves in a fantastic position as their inaugural season comes to a close with the playoff semi finals this Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Worcester's/MetroWest's home town arena, the DCU Center. If you haven't had a chance to see professional indoor football yet, this is your last chance to see the most exciting professional sports you have ever seen.....Don't miss the New England Surge face their opponents, Lehigh Valley Outlawz for the third time...Third times the charm!!! The New England Surge will be facing # 3 Lehigh Valley OutLawz who they beat in two previous games, the first on May 12 at home with a winning score of 53-23 and the second game at Lehigh with a score of 70-42. The winner of the first round Playoff game on July 7 will be facing the playoff winner of the Atlantic Division on July 14th to determine the Division Champion. The Division Champs, Atlantic and Great Lakes respectively, will clash on July 28th at a location to be determined.

July 7th The top four teams in each division play in the play offs as follows:

„« The 4th place team Chesapeake play 1st place team Rochester Raiders at the 1st place team's home field

„« The 3rd place team Lehigh Valley plays the 2nd place team The New England Surge at the DCU Center

July 14--Top two division play off winners play against each other for Atlantic Division Championship

„« Same as above for Great Lakes Division playoffs

CIFL Championship July 21 or July 28th Atlantic Division against Great Lakes Division
