April 30, 2016 - Richmond, VA - Hartford (18-4) added a win to the best record in baseball with a 5-1 victory over the Squirrels on Saturday Night at The Diamond. Richmond (8-15) was unable to take advantage of a stellar outing from starting pitcher Matt Gage in the loss. Gage hurled six innings and allowedjust one run with four strikeouts in the defeat. April 29, 2016 - Richmond, VA - The Flying Squirrels (8-14) took the Harford Yard Goats (17-4) into eleven innings on Friday, but fell 4-3 in a dramatic ending at The Diamond. Trailing 2-0 in the ninth, Ricky Oropesa forced extras with a game-tying home run off closer Matt Carasiti.
