June 27, 2016 - Richmond, VA - Representing the tying run, Squirrels catcher Steve Lerud was cut down at the plate to end the game in a 5-4 Richmond defeat on Monday at The Diamond. Akron (44-34) managed to hang on over Richmond (27-49) as the Squirrels scored a pair of runs in the ninth but fell just short. June 26, 2016 - Binghamton, NY - The Flying Squirrels (27-48) were swept away by the B-Mets on Sunday afternoon in a 7-2 defeat at NYSEG Stadium. Richmond could not recover from an early 6-0 deficit as the B-Mets (31-42) pushed Squirrels starting pitcher Andrew Suarez from the game after just two plus innings of work. June 25, 2016 - Binghamton, NY - The Flying Squirrels (27-47) lost a 2-1 lead in the seventh inning and had their comeback efforts fall short in a 4-3 defeat against the B-Mets (30-42) on Saturday night at NYSEG Stadium. June 25, 2016 - RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Kickers (5-5-5) and the Bethlehem Steel FC (4-4-6) played out a 0-0 draw at City Stadium on Saturday night.
