September 28, 2016 - AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets in conjunction with their parent affiliate, the San Francisco Giants, have announced a two-year extension to the current player development contract (PDC) between the two organizations. The GreenJackets-Giants relationship dates back to 2005 and 2017 will mark the 13th season of the partnership. September 7, 2016 - ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Minor League Baseball today announced the August Player of the Month Award winners for each of its 16 leagues. Each player will receive an award from Minor League Baseball in recognition of the honor. Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Phillies) right-hander Phil Klein led the International League in strikeouts (46), batting average against (.154) and WHIP (0.65) in August. September 6, 2016 - Augusta, GA - The Augusta GreenJackets (40-29, 76-63 and Rome Braves (43-27, 70-69) finished their series Monday Night, and for the GreenJackets, played their season finale.
