Firebirds Add Assistant Coaches

January 5, 2016 - ALBANY - The Georgia Firebirds announced Tuesday they have hired Anthony Donald (A.D.) Laster, Sr. and Antwone Savage as assistant coaches on head coach David (DJ) Daniels' staff. "I am pleased to add A.D. (Laster) and (Antwone) Savage to our coaching staff," said Daniels. "They are established winners at the collegiate and professional level, and bring valuable experience and a passion for the game to our team. Firebirds to Hold Tryouts

December 18, 2015 - The Georgia Firebirds will hold an open tryout on Saturday, Dec. 19th at the James H. Gray Civic Center in Albany, GA beginning at 9:00 a.m. The tryout will begin with registration and check-ins, which require a Photo ID. Team player personnel and coaches will be testing players on a variety of football related skills. American Indoor Football Comes to Albany

November 20, 2015 - Albany GA - American Indoor Football (AIF) CEO/Owner John Morris is proud to announce that an ownership group, led by T.L. Fowler Sr, have come to an agreement to bring the Georgia Firebirds into the AIF for the 2016 Season. The AIF is a professional indoor football league with a national footprint.
