February 22, 2025 - POUGHKEEPSIE, NY - Rookie goaltender Rahul Sharma earned his first pro victory to help HC Venom end an 11-game skid in a 3-2 win against the Port Huron Prowlers on Friday at McCann Ice Arena.
The 21-year-old was 0-2-1 in his first three appearances, including a 58-save pro debut in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Watertown Wolves on Feb. 7. But Friday, Sharma made 34 saves and was backed by three second-period goals to help the Venom win for the first time since Jan. 11.

February 8, 2025 - POUGHKEEPSIE -- Despite a 58-save performance by 21-year-old Rahul Sharma in his pro debut, HC Venom dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Watertown Wolves at McCann Ice Arena on Friday.
Sharma dominated much of the game, but it was Wolves forward Trevor Grasby who played hero in the end, scoring the overtime winner at 2:17. Davide Gaeta and Trevor Lord each netted third-period goals to send the game to overtime, erasing a 2-0 deficit for Watertown.

February 3, 2025 - POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - John Moriarty made 45 saves, but the HC Venom fell short Sunday, dropping an exciting 5-4 decision to the Danbury Hat Tricks in front of a raucous crowd at McCann Ice Arena.
Danila Belov and Lester Brown led the way offensively for the Venom with two goals each, while Ivan Ponivanov tallied a career-high three assists. Cory Anderson had two goals for Danbury, including the game-winner at 3:09 of the third period. Frankie McClendon got the win with 26 saves.

January 20, 2025 - POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - HC Venom played their first game at their new home, McCann Ice Arena, on Sunday. Despite a spirited effort in front of vocal crowd on a snowy afternoon, the Venom lost 6-2 to the Binghamton Black Bears.
Austin Thompson and Daniel Stone had big games Binghamton, each recording four points. Thompson did it with two goals and two assists, and Stone complimented his one goal with three assists. The Venom had six players record a point, with Connor Craig and Jonas Leas netting the goals.
