Edgar Gonzalez got his second win of the spring as the Diamondbacks bested the Padres 8-4. D-backs' first baseman Trot Nixon crushed a two-run homer in the second inning. "The Mobile Boys", Upton and Reynolds, had the day off.
Tonight, Arizona travels to Peoria to battle the Mariners. Micah Owings will get the nod for the Diamondbacks while Jarrod Washburn will take the ball for Seattle.
