Youth Night coming to Snohomish County Explosion Basketball

MONROE, Wash. - April 15, 2008 - Youth sports programs will have an opportunity to check out an Explosion game free of charge this weekend simply by showing their team spirit. Any youth sports athlete wearing their uniform will receive free access to the Monroe Sports Arena at Monroe High School for our upcoming game against the Portland Chinooks this Saturday, April 19 @ 7:15pm.

The Explosion is proud to offer this opportunity to such organizations as YMCA Youth Sports, Boys & Girls Club Sports, the Sky Valley Youth Sports Association and other youth sports programs across East County.

Snohomish County Explosion Basketball is an international sports organization based in Monroe, Washington. As a member of the International Basketball League (IBL), the Snohomish County Explosion will be defending its 2007 West Division Championship Title against teams from across the Western United States, Canada and China. Explosion LLC was founded in 2006 by former Microsoft Manager and CEO of Courtyard Media Group Inc. Nathan Mumm.

The Explosion have a 5-4 record and play the Portland Chinooks this Saturday, April 19 and next Saturday, April 26 at 7:15pm in the Monroe Sports Arena at Monroe High School. Seats are still available by calling 425-339-BALL (2255) or may be purchased at the Monroe Sports Arena Box Office starting at 5:00pm (PST).
