YMCA,Outlaws' Floor Hockey League Begins Tuesday

Mason City (IA) The Mason City YMCA and North Iowa Outlaws have teamed together to start a youth floor hockey league every Tuesday through the holidays at the YMCA's recreation building. Outlaws' players will be on hand at 5:15pm to referee, instruct and even participate in games with the kids.

"This is a fun exercise for the players as it combines giving back to the community with what they know best and that is hockey" noted Director of Communications Scott Montesano. "This is the perfect venue to give the players a chance to interact with kids because it's a comfortable environment for both parties."

The floor hockey league is the first in a series of events and programs the Outlaws' and Mason City YMCA are hoping to jointly put together this season.

Outlaws home games are played at the North Iowa Ice Arena in Mason City, IA. All games will be broadcasted on northiowaoutlaws.com and video broadcast through B/2 Network.
