Richmond, VA - "This Week In The IFL" returns with Episode Three. Host Denis Puska is joined by Cedar Rapids Titan's defensive lineman and reigning Defensive Player of the Week, Xzavie Jackson. Rookie IFL Head Coach Billy Back of the Texas Revolution is also on the program. Additionally, Puska goes "inside the huddle", taking a look at the news and notes from around the league as well as a preview of Week 5 of the Indoor Football League Season.
Xzavie Jackson is the first guest on this week's show. The Cedar Rapids Titans are off to a 4-0 start in 2013, already matching their win total of a season ago. Jackson and the Titans defense are a big part of the turnaround, giving up a league best 29 points per game. The Titans also lead the league in total sacks with 18. Jackson is the current league leader with 8. After the hot start, the Titans get a chance to rest up during the bye week.
Puska's second guest is Texas Revolution Head Coach Billy Back. After winning 3 straight championships with the Cincinnati Commandos of the CIFL and UIFL, Back hopes to bring his winning pedigree to the Revolution. Back and the Revolution sit at 0-1 after a tough Week 2 loss at the hands of Cedar Rapids in their IFL debut. The team looks to rebound this week when they travel to Chicago to face the Slaughter on St. Patrick's Day.
