Xplorers Playoff Drive Update

Memphis Xplorers News Release
SOUTHAVEN, Miss â The Memphis Xplorers are still alive in their chase for the af2 playoffs, but they need some help in order to qualify. The Xplorers are 5-9 and can make the playoffs if they win their last two games and several teams ahead of them lose. This Saturday night Memphis is on the road taking on the Green Bay Blizzard. With a 38-28 loss to Arkansas this past Saturday the Xplorers National Conference playoff hopes suffered a blow, but they still have life. The Xplorers can finish 7-9 at best in the regular season and can still qualify for the playoffs if they get some assistance from other teams. Bakersfield, currently 7-7, must lose their final two games. Cincinnati, currently 6-8, must lose at least one of their last two games. San Diego, currently 5-9, must lose one of their last two games. The Xplorers have the easiest remaining schedule out of Bakersfield, Cincinnati, and San Diego. Memphis is currently in a tie for 8th in the National Conference with San Diego.
