Memphis Xplorers News Release
SOUTHAVEN, Miss â The Memphis Xplorers and Adventure Pools & Construction will give away a spa Saturday night at halftime of the Xplorers' final home game of the regular season. The Xplorers take on the Arkansas Twisters at the DeSoto Civic Center, located just 15 minutes south of downtown Memphis. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. this Saturday night. Call (662) 280-3737 for tickets or go online to www.xplorersaf2.com.
"Adventure Pools and Spa has been gracious enough to provide us with a spa to give away to cap the home schedule," Xplorers General Manager Greg Griffith said. "We know that fans come to our games to see great football and to win great prizes."
Two contestants, Barry Henson and Michael Edelin, qualified during the season-long contest and will compete for a chance to win a spa from Adventure Pools & Construction. The winner will be decided by a test of football throwing skills. The empty spa will be placed at the goal line and the two contestants will throw a football into the spa from 10 yards away. If both contestants successfully throw the ball into the spa from that distance, they will each back up five more yards and so on until one makes and one misses, resulting in a winner.
