These two teams will be meeting for the second time this season, and the fourth time in the history if the series ... Utah is 3-0 all-time against the Cavalry ... The Warriors are 1-0 at home against the Cavalry ... Utah defeated the Cavalry 63-56 in Casper, Wyoming on April 9 ... Utah won 63-26 in the only other meeting at the E-Center ... In the three games of the series, Utah has scored at least 63 points in each game and a total of 205 ... Both games in Wyoming came down to a final drive ... This will be the final regular season meeting between the two Pacific West rivals.

About This Game...
In the two season that these two teams have met they have developed a strong rivalry. Although Utah is 3-0 all-time against Wyoming, two of the three games have come down to the game's final possession. Last season Utah won a shoot-out 79-76 in Capser, then rolled a Cavalry team that was just playing out the string, 63-26 at the E-Center. In their meeting this season in Casper, the game ended with Kautai Olevao knocking down a potential game-tying touchdown pass as time expired.
Utah has scored at least 63 points in each of the three meeting between the two teams, but struggled last week getting any offense. Doug Smith looks to rebound from his worst outing of the season this week. Smith currently has a quarterback rating of 105.3 and has completed 61.4% (70x114) of his passes. He has thrown for 919 yards and 22 touchdowns.
Matt Strand leads the Cavalry offense. This season he has gone 104x177 (58.8%) for 912 yards and 20 touchdowns. His quarterback rating is 103.13 and he has thrown only four interceptions. Against Utah on April 9 Strand went 22x41 for 203 yards and six touchdowns.
Emmett White is coming off a two catch performance against Sioux City. White leads the Warriors with 26 receptions and 311 yards. He also has 10 touchdowns. Cody Jamison missed the game with Sioux City but is second on the team with 13 catches for 201 yards. Mike Rigell is second on the team averaging 45.8 yards per game.
Chris Swift leads Wyoming with 33 catches and Eric Nelson leads them with 325 yards. Swift has 322 yards and five touchdowns while Nelson has 31 receptions and eight scores. Swift and Nelson are the only Cavalry receivers with more than 100 yards on the season.
Omar Bacon needs just 36 carries to set the team record for attempts in a season. he currently has 69 attempts for 195 yards. Bacon averages 2.8 yards per attempts and has scored 11 touchdowns on the ground. Smith is second on the team with 146 yards rushing .
Thadd Variance leads th Cavalry with 97 yards and Anthony Simmons has added 92 yards. Both have scored two touchdowns each and average over three yards per carry.
The Utah defense hs struggled the last few weeks because of injury, but they are getting healty. Bart Amundson leads the team with 37 tackles, including 1.5 for-loss. Amundson also has one interception and one fumble recovery. Dee McCormick has stepped in nicely to fill holes created by injury. McCormick is second on th eteam with 29 tackles, 23 solo. He also leads the team with seven pass break-ups and has one interception. Cazzie Brown leads the Warriors with five tackles-for-loss.
Cos Abercrombie has 30.5 tackles to lead Wyoming. Abercrombie has added 5.5 tackles-for-loss, also a team high. Greg Ortberg is second on the team with 18 tackles and is one of three Cavalry defenders with an interception. Three different players have recorded a sack for Wyoming. Anthony Thomas has deed 14.5 total tackles.
