As you will discover it by reading the statistics described in the next few lines, and if we take into consideration the numerous daily visitors, the fans take a great interest in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League official Web site, www.lhjmq.qc.ca.
During January 2005, the QMJHL set a record of 669,408 visitors on its site, which exceeds its old record of 560,462 held in March 2004.
Moreover, last week, a crowd record was registered from January 30th to February 5th as 159,312 visitors took a look at no less than 1,293,852 pages.
It's on March 20th 2004, at the height of the play-offs, that the www.lhjmq.qc.ca was the most popular as over 39,243 Net surfers clicked on one of the pages of the QMJHL Web site. More recently, the best day in 2005 has been recorded on January 8th as 29,469 people visited the site on the same day.
Of course, the majority of Internet users surf in the evening. Last Friday, February 4th, between 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., 2,698 Net surfers â a record for only one hour â looked up mainly at game results and at different statistic reports.
The coming weeks on the ice rinks will undeniably be thrilling, and there could be a tremendous number of fans surfing on www.lhjmq.qc.ca until the end of the 2004-2005 season. By then, we will certainly have other records to announce!
