Wranglers hire Erin Griffin as Manager,Public Relations

AUSTIN, TX, November 18, 2005 - The Austin Wranglers announced today that Erin Griffin has joined the organization as Manager, Public Relations. Griffin will report to Director of Marketing Denise Fraser.

In her new role with the Wranglers, Griffin will manage day-to-day public relations efforts, including media relations, community relations, events and promotions,

Griffin comes to the Austin Wranglers from the Arena Football League offices in New York City. She worked in the communications department, assisting in all publications and releases while tracking daily media coverage. Prior to her work for the league, Griffin was the Media Relations Coordinator with the Grand Rapids Rampage during the 2005 season.

A native of Detroit, Griffin received a bachelor's degree in business administration and communication from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI.

On the strength of its Mission Statement and Fans' Bill of Rights, the Arena Football League - the second-longest running football league in U.S. history - begins its 20th season in 2006. The Austin Wranglers kick off their third season on Friday, January 27 at the Frank Erwin Center when they take on the Las Vegas Gladiators. Often recognized as one of the nation's most affordable and fan-friendly sports leagues, the Arena Football League is America's fastest-growing sport.
