WPS Finalizes Regular Season Game Times

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (April 10, 2009) - Women's Professional Soccer on Friday announced the game times for three television games in July following the release of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup™ schedule last week. Two of the three games will appear during the regular "WPS Sunday on FSC" time window of 6pm Eastern/3pm Pacific, with a third game scheduled for 4:30pm Eastern/1:30 Pacific on July 19th. The July 19 game will likely air live on Fox Soccer Channel, but could be tape delayed until 6:30pm Eastern/3:30pm Pacific, pending the schedule of the Gold Cup quarterfinals. The fourth game, an August 8th match-up between the Washington Freedom and Sky Blue FC, has been set for 7pm Eastern at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Below are the final four game times for the 2009 WPS Regular Season, thereby completing the regular season schedule:

July 12 Boston Breakers vs. Sky Blue FC Harvard Stadium 6pm FSC

July 19 Sky Blue FC vs. Chicago Red Stars Yurcak Field 4:30pm FSC

July 26 Saint Louis Athletica vs. FC Gold Pride Korte Stadium 6pm FSC

Aug. 8 Washington Freedom vs. Sky Blue FC Maryland SoccerPlex 7pm
