SAN FRANCISCO (May 8, 2009) - Women's Professional Soccer has scheduled the dates and locations for 15 of the 22 expected 2009 WPS Camps locations. In its multi-year partnership with UK International Soccer Camps, WPS Camps will provide a variety of weekly camp options for various age groups with the mission to create a challenging and dynamic training environment for young female soccer players. The league's pros will make guest appearances at each camp for players to learn about the pros from the pros. Initial camp locations, hosted by premier soccer clubs include: Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tenneessee.
"It's exciting to see such interest from markets that don't have WPS teams for our WPS Camps and our league's players," said WPS Chief Operating Officer, Mary Harvey. "We look forward to bringing WPS into cities across the country throughout the course of the summer."
