
World Cup Stars Offer Hand

INDIANAPOLIS-Landon Donovan and Cobi Jones, two familiar faces from the 2002 World Cup Team, have offered their hand to the Blast. In an effort to bring back the W-League team to Indianapolis in 2003, there will be an autographed Donovan-Jones soccer ball for raffle at the Blast game on Sunday. All proceeds will go towards the drive to bring back the W-League team in 2003. The "Last Blast of Summer" will be this Sunday night, September 1st at 5:35pm as the Blast host the Calgary Storm in their final game of the season.
It's also "Fan Appreciation Night." The Blast will look to finish off the season with a win in appreciation of their loyal fans.
Plan to arrive early for the 3rd annual Indiana Blast yard sale where you can pick up Blast and Blaze jerseys, shorts and much more. Be sure to participate in the silent auction where you can bid to win the autographed game jersey of your favorite Blast player.
Be on the lookout for more information regarding the comeback of the W-league team in 2003. MorSports, Inc. will be looking for the help of their fans to bring back the W-league team that was greatly missed in 2002.
