
Women\'s Pro Football Gives a Snap to North County

San Diego, CA. â The So Cal Scorpions, formerly from Temecula, are coming to San Diego, and they are giving North County a chance to make the roster.
This Saturday, the Scorpions will be at Palomar College from 9:00 am to noon to hold tryout number two for slots in their 2004 roster.
The Scorpions, a member of the Women's Professional Football League, held their first tryout last Saturday in the rain at UCSD. "The turn out was successful, especially considering the weather". Stated Co-Owner Ann Bagala. "We had a lot of new talent out, and we have two more tryouts to go" Said Co-Owner Christina Suggett.
