
Wolves turn hands of time

The Manchester Wolves professional arenafootball2 team announced today that they'll be changing their start times from 7:35pm to 7:05pm for their 2007 season which starts in late March.
"I think this will be a great change for everyone," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "Families won't have to worry about keeping their children out too late and can now be home at a reasonable hour."
For the last three seasons in Manchester, the Wolves have started their games at the standard 7:35pm slate. Along with the new time change fans can look forward to seeing some on-field changes for 2007 as well, which will include new promotions, players, dancers and opponents.
So far the Wolves have promoted four of their players from last year's squad to the Arena Football League; DS Brian Mance (Philadelphia Soul), OS Steve "Speedy" Gonzalez (Philadelphia Soul), WR/LB Wendall Williams (Nashville Kats) and QB Steve Bellisari (New Orleans Voodoo). Wolves Head Coach Ben Bennett is currently recruiting talent for this year's team and has already announced the signings of OS Jarrail Jackson (two-time First Team ALL-af2 player) and QB Shawn Brady (Northeastern University).
