Wolves training camp officially opens Wednesday

MANCHESTER, NH (March 15, 2005) The Manchester Wolves begin the Ben Bennett era on Wednesday, March 16, 2005. 35 potential players will report to the Wolves training camp for a shot at one of the 20 roster spots for the 2005 season.

"We are bringing a very talented group of players to camp for 2005," said Bennett. He added, "Competition for a roster spot is going to be tough, but that assures us of the best team possible for Manchester."

Training camp for the 2005 Wolves will begin with physicals at Apple Therapy, 11 Washington Place in Bedford, NH. The team will then hold their first meeting over dinner before starting double session workouts Thursday morning.

Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella stated, " training camp gets everyone excited about the upcoming season, and we look forward to another great season on the field and off."

Training camp for the Wolves goes on for two and a half weeks with the first intersquad scrimmage on March 22nd. A joint scrimmage with Albany and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will take place on March 25th.
