Wolves Preparing for Season Opener

Last weeks 48-16 route of the Utah Knights unveiled a new era in the Bay Area.The San Jose Wolves are new members of the American Indoor Football Association's Western Conference.The San Jose Wolves are preparing for their regular season opener against the Arctic Predators on Saturday, March 20,7p.m. at the Cow Palace.

Head Coach and General Manager, Bennie King, is confident that his team has a promising future.

"The game was a great success as an organization. We were able to unveil our product to the Bay Area and I think fans were surprised at what hey saw on the field as well as receiving the overall football experience." The Wolves boast a roster of talent that King feels will allow the San Jose Wolves to compete for a championship this year. "We have done a great job at getting guys in here who can, flat out, play. We most definitely feel that the execution of focused elements will make us win a championship this year," King said.

King has an illustrious track record winning two championships with the Lakeland Thunder Bolts in 2007, and the Florence Phantoms in 2008. " We are looking forward to this Saturday and continuing off the success of our pre-season game," said King.

Bay Area football fans get ready, Arena Football is back in 2010. Come and support your San Jose Wolves as they play host to the Arctic Predators this Saturday night.
