Wolves face off against Icehogs in West Division final

The Chicago Wolves will take on the Rockford IceHogs in the 2008 West Division Final, which begins at the Allstate Arena on Thu., May 1 at 7 p.m., and on Sat., May 3 at 7 p.m.

Games 3 and 4 will be held at the Rockford MetroCentre on Sun., May 4 at 4 p.m., and on Wed., May 7 at 7 p.m. If necessary, the Wolves will host Game 5 at the Allstate Arena on Fri., May 9 at 7:30 p.m., the IceHogs will host Game 6 at the Rockford MetroCentre on Sun., May 11 at 4 p.m., and the Wolves will host Game 7 at the Allstate Arena on Tue., May 13 at 7 p.m.

The first-seeded Wolves earned a 4-games-to-2 series win over the fourth-seeded Milwaukee Admirals in the first round while the second-seeded IceHogs topped the third-seeded Houston Aeros, 4-games-to-1 in their opening round.

During the regular season, the West Division Champion Wolves notched a 6-3-0-1 record against Rockford, which includes a 5-0 mark at the Allstate Arena, in the first year of competition between the squads.
