MANCHESTER, N.H. (January 7, 2004) â The Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's exciting new arenafootball2 team, today announced tryouts for their dance team, which will be held Sunday, January 25. The audition will take place at Dance Visions Network located at 699 Mast Road in Manchester. Registration for the event will begin promptly at 9 a.m. on the 25th.
Dancers must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the audition. Proper dance/fitness attire such as bike shorts with an aerobic top should be worn. Candidates must also bring a resume, current photo, bagged lunch and water. A $10 cash only registration fee will be required.
The tryout will be conducted by new Wolves dance team choreographer and area native Heidi Sullivan-Laroche. Laroche is the owner of Dance Visions and a former New England Patriots cheerleader. Another former Patriots cheerleader, Patty Vilela, will be the Wolves dance team coordinator and will also assist with the audition.
"We're very fortunate to have Heidi and Patty on board with us to handle the dance team," Wolves General Manager Angelo Mazzella said. "With their professional dance experience, I have no doubt our New Hampshire group of girls will be top notch."
A second and final round of dance tryouts will be held in February. The final round plans to be a special event held at a public venue with a celebrity panel of judges. More details will become available after the first round of tryouts is completed.
