Wolfpack Host Fort Wayne Freedom Friday

The Wisconsin Wolfpack (3-1) host the Fort Wayne Freedom (2-1) at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum in a rare Friday night home game for the team.
The Freedom come into the game in second place in the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) Eastern Division. They lost a tough overtime game to the Marion Mayhem (3-1), 39-33, last week in Marion, Ohio.
Meanwhile, the Wolfpack easily handled the Rock River Raptors (0-4) to remain in second place in the CIFL Western Division. Cornerback Trey Bell tied a CIFL record with a 52-yard interception return to get the Wolfpack on the boardand running back Eric Donoval added four rushing touchdowns en route to a 50-23 drubbing of the Raptors.
Both teams are evenly matched statistically. The Freedom have the fourth-ranked offense in the CIFL, averaging nearly 43 points per game. The Wolfpack are right behind them at 41 points.
The Wolfpack defense claimed the top spot in the CIFL this week. The team only allows an average of 30 points per game. The Freedom are third in the league, allowing 32 points per game.
Wolfpack running back Eric Donoval ranks second in rushing in the CIFL following his 60-yard, four touchdown performance last week. Wide receiver Will Norwood is fifth in the league in receiving yards with 182.
The Freedom are led by quarterback Randy Hutchinson. Hutchinson is third in the CIFL in passing yards with 560 and second in passing touchdowns with 16. He leads the CIFL in passer efficiency at 143.2.
