Wolfpack Announce 2009 Schedule

The Wisconsin Wolfpack and the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) are pleased to announce the 2009 season schedule, along with the divisional and playoff alignment, as the CIFL gets set to begin their fourth season.

The CIFL will consist of eight teams from Wisconsin to West Virginia and will be separated into two divisions, the East and West, consisting of four teams each. The Wolfpack, along with the Chicago Slaughter, Milwaukee Bonecrushers, and Rock River Raptors will make up the Western Division while the Eastern Division will include the Fort Wayne Freedom, Marion Mayhem, Wheeling Wildcats, and a team located in Huntington, WV.

The Wolfpack will kickoff their inaugural season in the CIFL on the road as they travel to Rockford, Ill., to take on the Raptors on Saturday, March 7. The Wolfpack's inaugural home opener will be on Saturday, March 21, when they host the Chicago Slaughter at Veterans Memorial Coliseum at the Alliant Energy Center. The season will conclude on June 6, as the Wolfpack travel to Wheeling, WV, to face the Wheeling Wildcats.

Following the regular season, the top two (2) teams from each division will play for the division championship and a spot in the CIFL Championship Game.
