Wisconsin Wolfpack Schedule Released

The Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL) released the league's 2010 schedule today. The Wisconsin Wolfpack will begin the season on the road against the Columbus Aces, a new team in the CIFL, on March 20. The first home game for the Wolfpack will be on Saturday, April 3, at 7 p.m. against the Miami Valley Silverbacks.
The CIFL consists of six teams. Along with the Aces, Silverbacks, and Wolfpack, there are the Fort Wayne Firehawks, Chicago Cardinals, and Cincinnati Commandos. The CIFL regular season will run ten weeks, with a two week playoff to follow.
"We are excited for the 2010 season to start," said Wolfpack general manager Peter Kishline. "The Wolfpack made a statement in our inaugural season last year and we look to build upon that momentum and bring a championship to Madison this season."
The Wolfpack are holding an open tryout on Saturday, January 9, from 9-11 p.m. at the Keva Sports Complex in Middleton. Prospective players can pre-register through the Wolfpack Websitefor $25 or can register at the door for $30 (cash or credit card only).
Wolfpack season tickets are also on sale. Fans can get tickets to all five home games for just $46. In addition, fans who purchase season ticket packages now will receive a $10 CashPack which is good for concessions and official Wisconsin Wolfpack apparel.
