Wisconsin Riveters to have Meet and Greet

The Wisconsin Riveters are pleased to announce a Meet and Greet on November 1st, 2003. To be held at Boom Town Saloon located in Chicago IL. The Meet and Greet is a great way to meet some of the players on the team. There will be an all-u-can eat buffet. The ticket price for food is $5 for adults. We will have a raffle drawing and 50/50 tickets will be available. Start time is 7:00pm and will go till 10:00pm.

Directions: Boom Town Saloon is located at 7607 W. Addison, Chicago, Il ( it's the corner of Addison & Oriole). The directions from 94e to 294 south. Follow 294 south to Indiana. There will be a toll booth just before the exit. Get of at Irving East ( IL 19) follow that through the woods till you hit Cumberland ( IL 171) Turn right ( south). Next light should be Addison, turn left. You will drive for a little while and then you will see the bar on your right hand side.

The Riveters are a full contact women's football team and members of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA). The release of the schedule and the location where the Riveters will be playing will be available in November. Upon release of the schedule season ticket sales will start.

The National Women's Football Association is the largest league in the world for women's full contact tackle football with 37 teams in 23 states and a website that receives more than 3 million hits per month. The league's season begins April 10, 2004 and many of the games will be broadcast on the exciting new Football Network.
